 The LMK 6, manufactured by Techno Team®, is a mobile luminance measuring video photometer that can be used for imaging photometry and colorimetry. It enables complex analysis of luminous and illuminated scenes, including access to customizable software tools. Comprehensive evaluation of such scenes requires knowledge of the luminance distribution in order to solve the necessary measurement tasks. With the development of CCD matrix cameras, the system provides solutions to a wide range of measurement challenges, such as glare evaluation according to the UGR method, analysis of visibility conditions in road traffic at night, illumination assessments of glare sources, and similar applications. Imaging luminance-measuring technology supplies both photometric parameters and geometric data, allowing users to determine additional lighting-engineering quantities.

The LMK 6 is TechnoTeam’s luminance measurement camera and is widely used as a standalone measuring device. It is compact, lightweight and can be applied in almost any light measurement application. As one of TechnoTeam’s core products, it is also used in other camera-based measurement systems.

The LMK 6 is currently available in three model types with different image sensor sizes. Equipped with a V(λ) adapted spectral filter glass, the LMK 6 achieves a spectral responsivity that is closely aligned with the standard CIE-Y function, ensuring measurements that reflect human brightness perception.
